Biography

Yun has more than 20 years of biological research experience in both academia and industry.  Her past research covers many fields including molecular biology, cell biology, protein biochemistry, neuroscience, electrophysiology, human single-cell sequencing, and immune therapy pharmacogenomics.

Yun joined the Chang Laboratory for Liver Tissue Engineering lab as a research specialist in February 2018.  Her main project is generating highly-functional human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived liver organoids to investigate the molecular basis of three-dimensional cellular organization and vasculogenesis.
