Biography
Marie graduated in 2022 from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and minors in Biochemistry and Neuroscience. Prior to joining Chang Laboratory for Liver Tissue Engineering, Marie engaged in a variety of research which included studying biomaterials at the UCSF Therapeutic Microtechnology and Nanotechnology Laboratory of Dr. Tejal Desai where her love for research blossomed. Currently Marie's work focuses on liver organoid generation to study transplantation and cryopreservation.
Marie is originally from Old Saybrook, CT and moved to San Francisco in 2018 for college. Some of her interests include hiking, playing field hockey, singing, painting, and eating lots of good food."
